Elisabeth’s Fight With Rosie 05/23/07
If you watched or read the media’s portrayal of Rosie O’Donnell’s last day on The View, you undoubtedly read many headlines about “Rosie’s Big Fight With Elisabeth,” in which Rosie was portrayed as angry and mean to Elisabeth. However, if you watch the actual footage, you can see that it was Elisabeth who was the aggressor throughout the entire discussion. Elisabeth begins by interrupting Joy with sarcastic comments as Joy attempts to provide some facts about the George Bush presidency, and then continues by angrily defending her refusal to respond to the Fox News pundits who said that Rosie called the U.S. troops terrorists. As the discussion progresses, Rosie repeatedly tries to de-escalate the situation and not get into a disagreement. However, Elisabeth angrily continues. While many have portrayed this as a fight over politics, it was really a fight about friendship and Elisabeth’s refusal to support Rosie by denouncing what these pundits were saying about her.

The last I heard, none of these people have anyone in the military; yet, they squawk the loudest. They defend the War, as well as any of the activities of the War. Elisabeth needs to be fired just for her position of acting as if she is on Fox News. She was put on the “View” to give her view of what is happening and not being a “parrot” for Fox news. She has become such an obnoxious person.

October 19th, 2007 at 2:08 pmHow horrible this video is. I didn’t see it live on the “view” but followed the news about it. Elisabaeth hasn’t a clue what she’s talking about. Never did answer Rosie’s question. Why did Rosie have to leave the View over this debate. I don’t get it. If anyone should have left, it should have been Elisabeth. She brings “nothing” to the show that I could enjoy.
